Lately, there’s been a lot of back-and-forth about working from home versus returning to the office.
It feels like people are being pushed to pick a side, either fully remote or fully in-person. But honestly, a balance between the two can be really powerful.
As a real estate broker, I’ve found that a hybrid setup works best for me.
Sure, there’s a whole world of flexibility and learning outside of office walls, and that’s great. But there’s also a unique energy and connection that comes from being in the office. I try to show up every day, even if I don’t have any meetings scheduled. Why? Because I get a lot out of just being there.
I like having a clear boundary between home and work. When they start to blend too much, I feel a bit sluggish or uninspired.
I enjoy the background buzz of real estate, the conversations, the vibe. Just being around it teaches me so much.
I genuinely like the people I work with. Having a community outside of home adds something meaningful to my day.
Being around others helps me sharpen my communication and people skills, which is a big part of what I do.
For me, going to the office is like a pit stop for my energy. It gives me a boost, resets my focus, and reminds me that I’m part of something bigger than just my laptop screen.
